Second Week of Advent
Prepare a way for the Lord....
He went through the whole Jordan district proclaiming a baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins, as it is written in the book of sayings of the prophet Isaiah:
A voice cries in the wilderness:
Prepare a way for the Lord,
make his paths straight
When all the people asked him, "What must we do, then?" He answered, "If anyone has two tunics he must share with the man who has none, and the one with something to eat must do the same."

Thought for the day...
If, then, you are looking for the way by which you should go, take Christ, because He Himself is the way.
